I was passing through a Parsi temple in south Mumbai. In that temple only Parsi is allowed. That is exclusion. Hindu pandits did same mistake many years ago. Temples were closed to dalits. Later many dalits had converted to Islam or Christianity. Dalits were lower castes or untouchable. They were not allowed to touch precious god or his disciples, the pundits. Basic right of prayer got restricted. That was a blunder.  It misrepresented the fact that Hinduism is about exclusion. But truth is opposite.

Learning is life long process. We develop skills as we grow. Memory based learning is dead after google. Artificial Intelligence can memorise whole book for you for your reference. Formal school education will be changed forever. Now education is mainly job based. Wherever universities see jobs, they train people. And people too bounded by economic and social constraint follow the trend.

Indian men are angry, lonely, and egoistic. Many of them are on road for Rajput’s ego, Dalit’s ego, religious ego, family respect or nationalism. They own all egos. Filmmakers too sell same thing. Padmavat is show of Rajput EGO and Karni Sena too fighting for that EGO.

Fredrick the Great of Prussia, in 18th century, was very keen for the Germans to adopt potato to eat it. Because he realised if you had two source of carbohydrate, wheat and potatoes, you will get less price volatility in market. Even Germans will have two back to back crops.

The problem was very few Scottish were eating vegetables. The Prussian community said” We can’t even get the dogs to eat these damn things. They are disgusting things and absolutely good for nothing. There are even records of people executed for not growing potato.

We are seeing emergence of new branding Industry. Rahul Gandhi's image was as a Immature and irresponsible boy. He is now being branded as intelligent leader. Efforts are ON. Huge media agencies are working. He gets huge back up of script writers, event managers, and brand builders to prove that he is the future of India. It seems it is working slowly.

We are in a race, we all human. Race is to prove superiority. In such race, it is hard to keep self emotionally fit. High population means many issues, accidents, breakups, and mental meltdowns. Social dynamics have been changing with mobile connectivity. We are now connected to large audience. Our voice or talent could be heard loudly. Our strengths are being recognised. Our weakness are being exposed.

My mother is 73 yrs. old. We recently planned to renovate our old home. No one had lived in that home for 20 yrs. It was empty. She lived in it for 25 yrs. She had boxes .. Really old one. She resisted to discard them, distribute them or destroy them. We love to accumulate stuffs, even if we don’t use them.

I came across an interesting TED video about speaking on self. Title is “Adam Galinsky: How to speak up for yourself”. It raises many interesting questions and provides tools. It gives insight on when to assert self and when to play defensive. Our power games play important role in any negotiation or discussion. Our range of acceptable behavior to speak up solely determine by a particular context.
