Addiction is not new area. However it is getting diverse like Food, Netflix, Reels, Game, Porn, mobile , or chats. Addiction is about easy success.
Social media gives us wide exposure to brilliant minds as well as dirty minds. Our mind gets easily attached to dirt as it is cheap and easy. Discipline is dying slowly. Comfort zones are taking over.
Our consciousness is sticky. We feel stickiness in our mind about these addictions. Once we get taste of a like or appreciation. It stick to mind. We want more of that in easy way.
As we age, we get more and more habitual. We get stick to our routine. New way of thinking goes away. Unless you have a purpose in life.
Humans are in bounded to this suffering. They forget pain of joblessness or remain poor. Addiction is added to comfort zones. Era of hard work is over. Countries are pushing easy money, easy food, and easy addiction to make their citizen hell.
