FIVE MILLION jobs lost to sagging economy

Forget jobless growth, India's job base is actually shrinking dramatically.

Even as growth sags alarmingly and the third quarter for Financial Year 2012-13 saw GDP coming in at 4.5 per cent, news has emerged that India lost 5 million jobs in the five-year period ending 2010, according to the Planning Commission.

Education and Cost

Cost of education is increasing day by day. I am paying more than 10K rupee/ month in Delhi for my son. Same cost in Mumbai is approximately 5K rupee/ month for same standard of school. Delhi earlier had lack of schools for children. As now new schools are coming, so I am expecting cost will reduce.

Job Market

Job market is working very smartly. It has changed in big way from long term to short term benefits. My friend has stable job in IT Company and he got sudden jump to big company for project based assignment. He was hired on consultant role and on role of different company. Company wants him for short term at high pay. Risk is high but tempting.
