Management school and possesiveness

Primary tabs

I met one Sr manager from premier school . Intially, he impressed me with his charm and communication skill. I was on my mission to make shared service. I asked him to allocate activities and resource based on transactions. I was clear in thought and agreed on transaction but reporting should be to him only. I aligned him that this group will be carb out and will be aligned to Shared service group and these people won't be reporting to you at all. This shocked him. He went backside and start giving excuses. I also got my lesson on illusion. Manager thinks subordinates are their assets and they are the only best owner. Back to point, management school should have class on possessiveness and how to handle it.
